North East Workforce Skills Programme Fully Funded Commercial Course Offer

Seta has an exceptional track record of training delivery across a wide range of sectors. In particular, we work with employers in the engineering, manufacturing, process, service, and related industries.

Seta is part of the ESF North East Workforce Skills Programme (An European Social Fund Project) a consortium of Further and Higher Education providers in the North East which aims to upskill the workforce by delivering fully funded training to companies within Tyne & Wear and Northumberland.

One stipulation on accessing the fully funded training is that the company must not have received the maximum of €200,000 De Minimis State Aid in the past 3 fiscal years.  As this funding is matched against apprenticeship Levy drawdown priority will be given to companies that currently take or plan to take an apprentice in the near future.

Employers can utilise the ESF funding to address CPD requirements within their business up to a maximum of 200,000 euros over a three-year period if private sector, and with no limit if public sector.  Levy paying employers have provided the match funding to support the ESF contract, this ensures that the programme can be accessed by all employers. As this funding is matched against Seta’s apprenticeship Levy drawdown, priority will be given to companies that currently take or plan to take an apprentice in the near future.

There is no cash match required from employers.  We use the Apprenticeship Levy payments to match fund the ESF programme.

Through the programme Seta are offering a range of fully funded employee cross-skilling and up-skilling training, of varying length. Many of these carry professional accreditation (e.g. Pearson, C&G), others will be certified by Seta. Some of the courses are generic by nature, whereas others can be tailor made to suit employer requirements. We have listed some of our most popular courses below, however if you have additional training requirement please do get in contact.
