ABOUT THIS COURSE
An excellent introduction to fire safety, this course will allow the learners to recognise legislation and guidance, understand the process involved in their role of a Fire Marshall / Fire Warden. Know their duties to prevent fires from starting, or to reduce the risk of harm in an event where a fire is discovered.
CONTENT
What Fire safety legislation covers
- The chemistry of fire
- Identify common causes of fire
- Fire safety precautions
- Action on discovering a fire, including fire drills and evacuation
- The role of fire marshal, (fire risk assessments, testing and inspecting, fire log book, etc)
QUALIFICATION GAINED
A Seta certification will be awared on completion of the course.
